At Heritage Academy, our vision is to provide an exceptional educational experience by combining high standards with hands-on learning and outdoor activities. We promote free play, responsibility, adventure, a strong work ethic, and problem-solving skills. Immersed in the life of a working farm, students develop a lifelong love for learning and a drive for achievement. As the only program of its kind in North Alabama, Heritage Academy at Jubilation Farms stands out as a leader in educational excellence.
Ages 5-17
We now offer enrollment for ages 5-17! We use mixed-age and mixed-ability groups for farm chores and learning. This fosters collaboration and support, allowing students with similar reading levels to engage in personalized sessions for phonics, reading, and comprehension.
Personalized Paths
Students are equipped with Personalized Learning Plans (PLP) alongside group instruction in Farm Science and Living History. Collaborative opportunities arise for students with shared interests, allowing them to work together on specific aspects of their PLP projects.
Curriculum
We embrace a comprehensive curriculum: American History (including Living History), Math, Reading, Language Arts, Writing, and Nature Studies that foster critical thinking and effective communication through discussions, speech, debate,
and writing.
Farm-Centric
Discover a distinctive farm education, blending Farm Math, insights from colonial times, and hands-on Farm Science, with immersive projects such as exploring soil calculation, crop needs for a family of four, humane animal husbandry, and
sustainable agriculture.

My educational journey spans two decades, with experiences at Randolph School and a commitment that extends beyond traditional settings, embracing churches and homeschool co-ops.

As the Founder of Heritage Academy, the overwhelming love and support for our Farm School since its spring 2023 launch echoes our community's desire for personalized learning and a return to simpler times. Now, we're humbled and thrilled to witness dreams come true as we open the doors to North Alabama's first farm-centric microschool.
