School Safety

School safety measures are crucial to ensure the well-being of students, teachers, and staff. From implementing security cameras and conducting emergency drills, we do everything we can to make our microschool a secure place for all.

Each family who is enrolled in Heritage Academy at Jubilation Farms will receive a Handbook that outlines requirements for student behavior, transporting to and from the farm, visitor policies, sick policies, as well as other information that is crucial to ensuring our school year goes smoothly.

All teachers and staff will have mandatory Child Safety Training as well as background checks. Any parents who will be actively involved on site will also undergo mandatory background checks. The schoolhouse will be equipped with cameras in all common areas. The bathrooms will NOT have cameras, however, the cameras will be able to see who is coming and going from the bathrooms.

In addition, strict measures have been taken on site to make sure that the farm itself is a safe place for children to learn. It is always advisable for students, teachers, staff, and involved parents to make sure their tetanus shots are up to date.

Our main focus is making Heritage Academy a nurturing environment for our families where they feel welcome, secure, and supported.
